My Therapeutic Approach and Style

I approach psychotherapy from a transformative stance that empowers clients to explore their inner selves in a nonjudgmental and safe environment. The collaborative process involves us working together to navigate life challenges and foster personal growth uniquely tailored to your needs. My approach includes understanding how past experiences, traumas, relationships, and emotions help shape who you are today. I use a systematic lens to understand you and your life better.

I also use empowerment and spirituality (if needed) to help you (re)connect with your authentic self and rediscover your capacity for self-actualization. I am a culturally-centered, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive practice that utilizes clinical approaches so that we as a community can reclaim and experience transformative healing.

As an Afro-Caribbean immigrant, I am dedicated to creating a culturally relevant space for BIPOC individuals, where you feel safe, heard, understood, and empowered.

I am a Nyack graduate with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT); also, I obtained a Masters in Christian Ministry from the New School of Biblical Theology. As an Afro-Caribbean immigrant, I am dedicated to creating a culturally relevant space.
